I manage a Finnish record label called UJO. A few years ago I played in a band called Janne Kuution varamiehet. We played Jonathan songs (in Finnish) and my own songs not very far from his. We made two 7" vinyl EP's, all my songs. The back cover of the first EP says: This band is dedicated to Jonathan Richman ("the band" because I have seen so many songs / records dedicated to someone). Of course the text is in Finnish. We also recorded about 15 Jonathan songs in Finnish but we didn't publish them, they were for ourselves only.
